How do you stay sharp?

I am at my best when I am busy juggling 1,000 things and knocking things off my many to-do lists! As a busy working Mom with active children, there is never a shortage of things to get done each day!

I love to learn, whether reading an article or relevant business book or simply surrounding myself with people much smarter than myself to have a discussion or solve a problem, which is my preferred way to stay on top of my game.

When I am not spending time with my family, I love losing myself in a good book or movie as a way to unwind, along with daily exercise that includes an early morning walk or run and boot camp a couple of nights a week to push my limits and sense of accomplishment.

What is your perfect work day/work week?

My perfect work week includes being busy, learning something new, driving things forward, working with smart people and having fun! I look forward to starting each day with a sense of purpose and finishing the week with a sense of accomplishment (and completion!). Any day spent working hard, doing what you love and laughing, is a good day!

What quality do you most value in your teammates?

Openness! Openness to new ideas, new learning, to change, new ways of thinking, new opportunities, new possibilities!

What have you learned to do as an adult that many people learn in childhood?

That it’s ok to make mistakes; it’s how we learn. It’s ok to ask for help; it’s not a sign of weakness. There are no stupid questions; we don’t have all the answers.

Would you rather go into outer space or to the depths of the ocean? Why? Would you rather go into outer space or to the depths of the ocean? Why?

Depths of the ocean, not only for my love of water it makes me think of the warm sun and beaches— vacation! Space to me feels lonely, isolated and scary!
