Quarry, a top-ranking award-winning B2B demand marketing firm in North America, is currently looking for an Executive Creative Director to lead our creative and media team. The successful candidate will have proven experience in developing B2B demand marketing and ABM campaigns for enterprise-level technology companies. As a senior member of the leadership team, you’ll assume an integral role in contributing to the continued growth and success of our organization and our highly talented team.

What you’ll be doing:

Creative Leadership

  • Guided by smart demand marketing strategy and fueled by technology possibilities, deliver impactful buyer experiences that drive demand as well as exceed clients’ expectations
  • Provide expert creative perspective and guidance across disciplines, strategies, campaigns and programs
  • Lead creative concepting and themes ideation for campaign ideation
  • Provide oversight to concept development
  • Apply industry best practices in all creative disciplines, enabling Quarry to excel as an industry leader
  • Provide creative thought leadership, both internally and externally
  • Be a dynamic presenter of concepts and ideas to our client base.

Team Leadership

  • Collaborate with other senior leaders to conceive, implement and manage organizational strategy
  • Build strong internal relationships to promote effective collaboration between the creative team and other groups within the organization including: the Account Management, Project Management, Strategy, Technology, Operations and Analytics teams.
  • Lead, coach and mentor our Creative Directors and Media Director
  • Lead recruitment, hiring, retention, leadership development and talent management of teammates within the Quarry creative and media teams
  • Provide the team with creative inspiration and bring fresh new perspectives to the creative process and ideation, while enabling and promoting collaboration and creative thinking between teams
  • Lead the development of strategic ideas into actionable tactics
  • Keep abreast of industry trends/emerging directions, as well as new methods of delivery and technology, and have a strong grasp of digital creative (emails, web, landing page and form page design)
  • Spearhead the continued refinement of the creative procedures, processes and best practices to deliver industry-leading quality and cost effectiveness
  • Foster freelance and partner relationships to supplement our core team’s skills and utilization.

Growth and Business Development

  • Actively support and participate in developing new business opportunities
  • Assist in building out RFP responses, proposals, quotes and new business decks, and in situations when it’s required, lead the ideation for “pitch” creative and activation
  • Participate in bringing new solutions/innovations to the table for our clients.

Skills/Experience You Bring

  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in related discipline
  • Experience with B2B enterprise-level clients and technology-based products and services
  • Experience in a senior creative role within an agency environment
  • Proven expertise in leading, mentoring, coaching and managing a large group of creative professionals across various disciplines and bringing out the best in your team through situational leadership
  • Experience with budgeting, planning and financial performance for a business group or department
  • Creative thinker and spark to other creative and strategic professionals
  • Ability to imagine and generate big ideas from buyer insight and strategy
  • Expertise in modern B2B digital marketing approaches
  • A growth mindset and willingness to wade into the unknown
