Demand Marketing Media Director
Role & Responsibilities:
- Lead and challenge a compact core media team specializing in Demand Marketing (Demand Creation, Demand Awareness and Lead Generation)
- Lead outside agency partners and freelancers for larger media initiatives
- Take accountability for the quality of our media plans and buys – whether they are developed internally or externally
- Recommend appropriate media mix and spend to reach B2B client objectives, based upon a deep knowledge of key digital media (such as programmatic, native advertising, content syndication, targeted display, paid social, etc.) and at times, traditional media channels
- Present strategic media initiatives to clients, prospects (new business pitches) and internal teams
- Evolve and advance the Demand Marketing Media capabilities and capacity at Quarry, understanding industry trends, innovation and best practices
- Develop media approaches that consider traditional tactics, but put an emphasis on digital media, measurement and constantly embracing new ad technology and approaches
- Leverage direction provided by our Demand Strategy team to build measurable media strategies and plans
- Collaborate with Marketing Operations to develop media strategies and plans for our clients that are integrated with other marketing technologies
- Collaborate with the Creative team to jam on ideas that create impact
- Work with the Data Analytics team to deliver robust tracking, measurement and analysis of media activities for clients and report on ROI
- Lead smart negotiations that lead to savings and relevant added value
- Provide informed counsel with respect to best practices, emerging tools, technologies and trends in Social Media, Search and Media Planning/Buying
- Lead POV development, thought leadership writing and occasional speaking opportunities
- Provide strategic guidance on B2B SEM campaigns, from keyword research through to campaign structure and setup and bid recommendation
- Measure and optimize paid search and social campaigns using vendor-specific tools and dashboards, Google Analytics, and marketing analytics reports
- Tap into outside resources to augment research and analysis
- Obsessively assess and compare audience data with advertising data to create effective campaigns
- Provide oversight to execution, reporting and continuous optimization of demand marketing media campaigns
